Village in the Nakanai Mountains

This is a typical remote village with a small population and very few facilities.

Despite the lack of modern amenities the village is kept clean and tidy.

People in Ire Village

The people in these villages have a few western style clothes if they are near to an area where missionaries have practised.

The women are naked from the waist up and, if no clothing is available, wear grass skirts.
