This expedition was organised by members of the Slovakian Caving Club. The area explored during the summer was the Jakupica Plateau in Macedonia.
The last expedition ended with the exploration of Slovacka Jama on Kardjica (Cehi 1 - La Vendetta). This looked like it was going to be more than -300m into a really huge system. Potential there is about 1500 m and 15 km to the springs in the pure white marbles!
The main objectives were to look for new caves and to survey and push the Slovacka Jama. This vertical shaft totally fills with snow during the winter.
