Expedition Log

Day 9 Thursday 19th January 2006

Today was mainly spent food shopping. Matt Oliphant, Nancy Pistole, Dave Gill, Jean-Paul Sounier, Dave Clucas and Tom Chapman went to Tropicana where Nancy made herself busy organising, listing and checking all the items while the others picked things for purchasing. She sorted out the invoicing with Danny Loh, the manager. Tropicana Supermarket supplied most of it. They agreed to wrap and pallet everything. Total price there was 12,861 Kina.

Jean-Paul and I walked back calling in at the post office on the way. We had some lunch at Chopstix (Beach Hotel). Elery arrived in the morning and went to see Nelson and Herb arrived late afternoon.
