Introduction
Following the success of the Benarat 2005 Expedition the British team returned in 2007 for the next stage of exploration of the Mulu area. As most of discoveries made during Benarat 2005 were actually in Mount Api and not in Mount Benarat this expedition was named Mulu Caves 2007 as this covered both areas of exploration.
Whiterock
Several large passages in Whiterock needed further exploration. The last expedition discovered but did not explore a large passage heading north towards Camp 5. This and several other good leads were the target for this expedition.
Benarat
Moon cave, shown in this picture, still continued enexplored. The branch on the right had not yet been looked at and various other leads required investigation.
