New Cave in Mount Benarat

Moon Cave Entrance

Located 60m up the Benarat cliff this new cave was discovered during an attempt to bolt climb up to a higher cave located to the east of Tiger Cave.

It was given the name Moon Cave after the snack of Chinese moon cake the cavers were eating at the time.

Moon Cave Extremity

It was explored and surveyed for a distance of six kms and is still going.
